Snook
Centropomus undecimalis
Snook are a highly prized game fish.  As you can tell from the
picture they have a dark lateral line, helping to distinguish
them from other fish.  Snook have a wide habitat.  They are
found in freshwater as well as along the beaches of South
Florida.  They are however sensitive to cold water.  This is an
excellent eating fish.  You will not find it on a menu,  because
of it's sport fish classification.
